Gemia Island, is a tiny, rocky island covered in tropical scenery 5km from the east coast of Pennisular Malaysia. The island is only a few hundred metres from the popular Kapas Island, but often overlooked. There a hort 45 minute trek from the jetty that will allow you to discover the variety of flora and fauna found in the island. The island is also the hatching ground for four species of marine turtle. One could discover the marine lives surround the island by either snorkelling or scuba diving. The island is privately owned and there is only one resort. A perfect gateway.
